What is an e-Learning?
An online course where participants register individually and access the session with a direct email. Sessions are typically 2.5 hours (1:30pm ET - 4pm ET) each day. Attendance is recorded and upon successful completion, CEUs are applied towards certification requirements.
Description: This ethics training is a requirement for professionals seeking any of the NAHRO Management Certifications or the NAHRO Certified Management Executive (CME) Certification. The training is targeted to professionals with supervisory and/or managerial roles and responsibilities. The NAHRO Management Certifications are offered in the work responsibilities of Property Management, Housing Choice Voucher, and Maintenance. The Purpose of Ethics of NAHRO Management Certifications is to highlight and emphasize the supervisory and managerial aspects of creating an ethical work environment from the perspective of being stewards of the public trust.
- Identify and review the principles and application of ethical behavior in public service;
- Define critical management roles and responsibilities in creating an organization-wide ethical environment;
- Promote ethical behavior by all staff;
- Provide and discuss formal and informal actions, tools and techniques that promote ethical behavior with agency staff and community stakeholders, such as development of an ethics policy, quality assurance, and elimination of fraud
