"You can't fix the world until you understand how you perceive the world." Whether you acknowledge them or not, we all have biases. Biases are a condition of being human, and none of us can escape them. This two-part series is an opportunity to understand the way biases shape the way you see, not only yourself, but the way you implement your housing and CD programs. The program begins on Feb 16th by covering the basics: “What is implicit bias and what types of bias exist?”

Part 2 – (Date TBD) We will conclude our series with strategies to “de-bias” your organizations and policies, providing ways in which privilege affects our policies and thoughts on creating action.

If you’re interested in further exploring issues of equity and affordable housing, please join us at the NAHRO Washington Conference for a March 3 Equity Roundtable with Speaker Adrienne Jones

Please note: This is a member only webinar. You will need to log into your NAHRO account before hitting "register now".
